This service is ideal for relatively new bikes that require a thorough inspection, readjustment, or for bikes in good condition that have been stored in a shed and need a basic check to ensure they are roadworthy.

Everything from the basic service plus

• A full safety check – making sure all parts are secure, with Allen bolts and all external bearings checked
  and adjusted

Frame

• The frame and forks wiped clean and alignment checked
• A headset check – is it too tight or too loose? We adjust it if necessary
• A bottom bracket check – again, adjusted if necessary

Braking & drivetrain

• Brakes & gears tested and adjusted for smooth braking and gear changes
• All cables, chain and mechs lubricated

Wheels

• Wheels trued
• Tyres, wheel hubs and rims checked for damage
• And of course, tyres pumped up to the correct pressure level

Our comprehensive bike rebuild service goes above and beyond a general or full service by incorporating additional cleaning and thorough inspections. Here are the key details:

Frame

• Complete disassembly of your bike down to the frame, followed by a meticulous cleaning of each component
• Removal of the headset for examination, thorough cleaning, and subsequent reassembly using fresh grease
• Detachment of the bottom bracket, thorough cleaning, and reassembly with new grease

Braking & Drivetrain

• Assessment and replacement of brake pads as needed
• Thorough cleaning and degreasing of the chain, followed by reinstallation with a fresh lubricant

Wheels

• Disassembly of the hubs, meticulous cleaning, and reassembly using new grease before precise reinstallation and adjustment
• Truing of the wheels to correct any misalignment and careful inspection for any signs of damage

Everything Else

• Replacement of all cables and housings, along with lubrication of other fittings
• Substitution of any worn-out parts with new ones
• Comprehensive safety check to ensure the secure functioning of all components
